Tasks & Responsibilities
At PeelPioneers, we believe in the power of people. As an HR Business Partner, you play a crucial role in establishing and implementing our HR policies to support our pioneers. You are not only a strategic HR partner to the management team but also a dedicated advisor for our employees. Your focus is on nurturing and fostering our organization’s growth by attracting and retaining the right people, developing their talents, and creating a positive work environment.
In this diverse role, you act as a strategic partner to the management team, providing both requested and unsolicited advice on organizational development, talent acquisition, employee benefits, absence management, and employee development. You serve as a sparring partner and sounding board for managers, actively contributing to personnel and organizational development. By developing and implementing our HR policies, you contribute to achieving our long- and short-term objectives in all HR-related activities.
In addition to your advisory role, you are responsible for overseeing and processing personnel administration, including all administrative tasks related to hiring, internal mobility, and departures. You ensure that salary changes are accurately and promptly processed and verify the output. Furthermore, you are involved in establishing and executing various HR projects, such as performance cycles, training programs, employer branding, and mobility policies.
As an HR Business Partner, you stay up to date with the latest developments and best practices within your field, continuously seeking opportunities to further optimize our HR processes and services. You also provide qualitative and quantitative HR management information that supports the operational management of our HR processes.

We are the sustainable peel farmer of the 21st century. Instead of being incinerated into waste, we give orange peels a second life: we extract raw materials from the peel that we process into food ingredients. Our new factory in ‘s-Hertogenbosch has a production capacity of 50,000 kg of peels per day. And we are proud of that. Together with about 40 other colleagues you pioneer, on the way to a sustainable and circular future.
You will work closely with the business team (Office Manager, Finance Controller, and Commercial Director) – as we don’t have departments in our organization – where you will have the freedom to take initiative and make an impact. The ingredients you’ll need.
- You have a completed HBO/WO degree, preferably in HRM.
- You have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a relevant HR position, preferably within an operational/technical organization.
- You have up-to-date HR and legal knowledge and are familiar with the latest laws and regulations in the field of HR.
- You are a generalist: you have experience with various aspects of the HR field.
- You enjoy working independently and are accustomed to a demanding, rapidly changing environment.
